Prejudice and the daleks

a)      The doctor is prejudiced against the Dalek because they killed his people

b)      The Dalek is prejudiced against who isn’t a Dalek because they reckon anyone thats not Daleks should die because they killed his family and race.

c) Van Statten could be described as being prejudiced against anyone who isnt human because he wants to find out more about me to do that and tortures them.

2. He turns into a killer and the effects of the doctor have on the Daleks is to kill them all so he could win the war because they killed his race.

3. At the end of the story the daleks kills himself because he cant handle being prejudice.

Final Quarter

1. Stereotypes affect peoples life’s in bend it like Beckham, because some of the characters in the movie are going against their stereotypes so they feel happy.

 

For example:

-jess is expected to cook and act like an Indian to get married and have children but she plays soccer instead to follow her dreams.

- Joe is expected to play soccer or coach the men’s side but he has a knee injury and instead he enjoys coaching the girl’s soccer team.

 

1. Yes, I do think that stereotypes like this exist in
   Australia. As in Aboriginal they run quicker then the white people.
2. I’ve seen Woman racing cars on TV people say they shouldn’t be racing but they race in the big league competing  against the men and do well so the man get jealous.
3. Media are involved in the creating of stereotypes.

Second Quarter

One of my cahallenges was this year was and still is the new players of our rugby team with the new players dropping the ball, shoulder charging, hip and shouldering and doing  hand balls during training when i saw that we wern't going to do well in a game and we didn't there wee alot of mistakes which means alot of penalties which gave most the possien of the ball to the oppents, which also gave them try's. The experinced players had to play harder to clean up there mistakes so thats my challenge and we lost the macth.
